Restaurant Ikanos

The 2015 edition of Montreal à Table has been a great success again for Ikanos. Here are some of our best critics  Fashion is everywhereVoir Montréal and Nightlife.

“Located on McGill Street in Old Montreal, the IKANOS restaurant is to us a key institution of the event. The modern Greek cuisine of Chef Constant Mentzas has delicate flavors and refined presentations. You will not find souvlaki, gyros, spanakopita or in your plates… The friendly and passionate Mentzas pulls his inspiration from various cuisines: Japanese, Iberian, local …

Judge for yourself from some of the dishes from the menu at MTL TABLE: tataki mahi-mahi with white anchovies, kalamata olives, cherry tomatoes and capers; Spanish mackerel escabeche salad with chickpeas and tahini yogurt; seared scallops with ravioli, parsnip cream, chanterelles and foie gras terrine …

Not to mention, one of the main attractions of this table: Greek wines! During our last visit, we also had the chance to meet Katia Beli, winemaker at Alpha Estate, one of the most famous vineyards in Greece. Our favorite wine of the Alpha area is undoubtedly the Malagousia Axia 2013, a wine that can be found on IKANOS wine card and will perfectly fit your last meal of MTL TABLE.”
